Dr. David Weimer
We at Midwest Bible Training Center want you to know we will be praying for you as you attend classes. The instructors are interested in you and desire to assist you in your maturing. Ephesians 4:12, “for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;” declares that teachers, along with the other ministry team, are to equip you for the work of the ministry and to assist you in your maturing spiritually. To achieve this you will find that the aim of each teaching session is your heart rather than your head. Your academic marks are not as important to us as your growth and development in character. Because of this aim, we will seek to make your experience at Midwest Bible Training Center a broad learning experience. You will be challenged to stretch, to reach for the highest and best. You will be required to do your best. You will be expected to complete assignments on time and fully. You will be expected to honor your financial commitments on time and fully. Your word will be expected to be accurate and true. Your relationship with the Lord will be encouraged to expand. As a believer you will find yourself growing and your abilities expanding. Your Pastor will recognize it also. Your Church will benefit from your development. Since we expect this, you will be required to maintain your relationship with your Church. Midwest Bible Training Center will not allow itself to be a substitute for your Church. With these things, we welcome you. We rejoice in our opportunity to invest in your life. The staff and faculty see this as an investment in the Kingdom of God. Your future achievements will benefit us. We will reap where you sow and reap because we have invested in you. We expect great things from you both here as a student and as you graduate and fulfill your call. As director, I bring more than 40 years of ministry experience. I was licensed in 1957 by my home church. Later in 1964, I was ordained by the first church I was to Pastor. Then, after 21 years as Pastor, God directed my family to go to Trinidad and begin a Bible College. We chartered a Bible College with Kingsway Christian College & Theological Seminary and called it Caribbean Mission Bible School. Since then we have pioneered branches in 3 other countries of the Caribbean. This is our 5th. If I can be of assistance to you or your church, please ask me.
Because of Calvary, "My aim is that when my hands will work no longer, that the works of my hands will still continue to keep on working." |
